Situated in Normandy, about 2 hours from Paris and 10 minutes from the
beaches on the route to Mont Saint-Michel.
Caen is a dynamic metropolitan, founded in the 11th century
by Guillaume le Conquérant.
The city experienced heavy damage during the WWII but recovered to
become a vibrant center of science and industry.
The city has major educational institutions:

HPCS 2010 will be held at Le CENTRE DE CONGRÈS de CAEN (www.caen-expo-congres.com)
in Caen. It is located at the city center. It is a
multi functional large facility that typically accomodates over a
thousand participants for several days. It is fully equiped
for a meeting of this kind, with many meeting rooms, amphitheatres,
halls, cafeteria, etc.
